Friday 30th January, 2009 Prof. Peter York and Paul Thorning deliver plenary lectures at ICONTOX 2008
The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research Nanomaterials in Pharmaceuticals session commenced with the plenary lecture on Nanoscience and the Design of Medicines was delivered by Prof. Peter York .
The Ethical and Regulatory Issues in Nanomaterial Toxicology session commenced with the plenary lecture “Nanomaterials History, Hype and Hysteria” delivered by Paul Thorning, Director of the IPI.
The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) newsletter has published the Report, Recommendations and Declaration of the International Conference on Nanomaterial Toxicology, ICONTOX-2008, jointly organised by Indian Institute of Toxicology Research and Indian Nanoscience Society (February 5-7, 2008, Lucknow, India).
