Wednesday 1st July, 2009 Prof. Jamshed Anwar appointed Director of Research for Bradford School of Pharmacy
As Director of Research , Prof. Anwar’s role will be to consolidate and align the research of the School of Pharmacy with University of Bradford’s research strategy towards enhancing research quality and capacity. The research of the School is interdisciplinary with elements being carried out within the IPI and includes molecular and computational pharmaceutics, materials science, analytics, neuropharmacology and therapeutic applications of natural products. Over 85% of the School’s research activity was judged to be of international quality in the recent government-led Research Assessment Exercise (2008).
