Thursday 23rd June, 2005 IPI hosts West Yorkshire Business Incubator Network event

The Business Incubators aim to provide structured support to promising new businesses that are ‘starting up’; ranging from assessing the commercial potential of the enterprise to business mentoring.

The ultimate goal is to enable an incubator business to become a successful independent business, thereby helping to sustain Bradford and the region’s position as one of the fastest growing economic areas in the country.

Representatives from the Bioscience Business Incubator, Bradford BIC, Media Exchange and Think Business had an opportunity to meet with their colleagues from the rest of West Yorkshire region to discuss ideas and exchange experiences within the new state of the art, conference facilities at the IPI.

“The event is highlighting how promising new entrepreneurial development and economic growth in the region can be facilitated through the regional network of business incubators. It’s a great chance for all of us involved in business incubation to build links and exchange ideas, particularly with others representing different industrial sectors”, said host Dr Kevin Adams.

The Bioscience Incubator facility, within the IPI, offers invaluable specialist as well as business support for potential pharmaceutical or bio-science businesses and entrepreneurs. For more details please contact Dr Kevin Adams, Bioscience Business Incubation Manager on 01274 236104.
