Wednesday 14th December, 2005 Imran Khan lays foundation stone for ICT
The new Chancellor of the University of Bradford, Imran Khan, formally laid the foundation stone for the new Institute of Cancer Therapeutics on the 6th of December.
As well as being a centre of excellence for cancer research, the new building will also contain additional business incubation facilities to complement those in already in use in the IPI. Dr Kevin Adams will expand his role to cover management of both incubation facilities.
The IPI and ICT will be physically linked with a connecting corridor through the roof of the Norcroft Conference Centre which is also under construction. The two institutes will also have close ties with their complementary research programmes in drug discovery and development.
