Monday 16th February, 2009 Access to Finance for Healthcare Technologies programe is launched
The Yorkshire Forward Access to Finance for Healthcare Technologies (YFAFHT) is an investment readiness programme established by Yorkshire Forward to assist companies in the Health Technology sectors.

Friday 6th February, 2009 Over 80 young researchers attend RCUK-supported Summer School on drug delivery research
The CAS Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM) and the Institute of Pharmaceutical Innovation (IPI) at the University of Bradford in the UK have successfully delivered a week-long Summer School in Shanghai to introduce young researchers to new techniques for drug discovery and drug delivery (26/10/08 – 01/11/08)
The Summer School was taught by distinguished professors and scientists from SIMM, IPI, Fudan University, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Shanghai Jiaotong University. Over 80 young researchers from Shanghai and as far away as Wuhan and Jilin attended. This event was supported by RCUK China following the first annual UK-China Summer School competition.
