Thursday 14th January, 2010 Prof. Peter York delivers lecture at recent Drug Delivery to the Lungs Conference

Prof. Peter York gave a presentation entitled Particle Design and Engineering – Innovations for Inhalations at the recent Drug Delivery to the Lungs conference held in Edinburgh (9-11 December 2009).

The lecture was delivered as part of the “Technologies for the next 20 years” conference session.

Thursday 3rd December, 2009 IPI Paediatric Medicines Initiative televised on BBC Look North

The IPI Paediatric Medicines Initiative was televised on BBC Look North on Tuesday 27th October. Ms Shital Maru and Dr. Riddhi Shukla described the issues with current HIV medicines and how they were not suitable to meet the needs of children.

Ms Maru described how she was working on a project to reformulate HIV medicines to make them child friendly and how funds were urgently required in order to carry on this research work.

Friday 27th November, 2009 Dr. Riddhi Shukla to present round table session at Medical Innovation Forum meeting

Dr. Riddhi Shukla will be presenting a round table session titled “Novel drug delivery technologies to address unmet need: clinician driven dosage form design” at the Medical Innovation Forum meeting in Harrogate on 2nd December 2009.
