Monday 25th January, 2010 Successful open innovation workshop run in China as part of Science Bridges Programme

Science Bridges ran their first open innovation workshop in China in December 2009 leading to the potential for 6 projects with the University of Bradford and an offer of additional funding from the Changzhou city government. This very positive start is great encouragement for broadening open innovation programmes out across the UK and China.

Dr. Qun Shao delivered a presentation at Proctor & Gamble’s Newcastle Technical Centre entitled “Data Mining for pharmaceutical applications using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies” last November.

Thursday 14th January, 2010 Prof. Peter York and Prof. Anant Paradkar to visit Ege University in Turkey

Prof. Peter York and Prof. Anant Paradkar will be travelling to Ege University in Turkey in February on an Erasmus exchange visit giving lectures and workshops to the research team in the School of Pharmacy.
