Annual Yorkshire Bioscience Awards 2008
Yorkshire Forward are hosting the Yorkshire Bioscience Awards 2008. The event will be held on 26th June at Thorpe Park hotel in Leeds. The night will be a chance to celebrate success and achievement of bioscience in Yorkshire and the Humber and will give regional businesses some time to network and enjoy themselves.
The evening will be hosted by Professor Lord Robert Winston, who is best known for writing and presenting popular BBC science series including The Human Body, Superhuman and Your Life in Their Hands. Lord Winston will be joined by Michael Arthur, Yorkshire Forward board member and University of Leeds vice-chancellor, in celebrating the success of the bioscience sector in our region.
