Located on the top floors of the Institutes of Cancer Therapeutics and Pharmaceutical Innovation building and with links to the University Analytical Centre, clients in the incubator units have direct access to a wide range of high value equipment and expertise covering:
- Pharmaceutical Analysis – vibrational spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy, NMR and XRD.
- Formulation Develpment – capsules, liquids, inhalation, tablets, proteins.
- Device Development – design, materials, CE certification, risk assessment, manufacturing support.
- Computer Modelling – formulation ptimisation, process improvement, crystallisation
- Bioanalysis – HPLC, GLC,CE and LC-MS/MS for method development and sample analysis.
- Preclinical – GCLP laboratory for PKPD, PK study design and analysis; xenograft, orthotopic, hollow fibre and cellular models of efficacy and safety; real time PCR.
- Proteomics – micro LC, MALDI-TOF MS, bioinformatics, conventional chromatography and preparative electrophoresis.
- Bioimaging – cofocal and fluorecent microscopy, flow cytometry, scanning and transmission electron microscopy.
- Clinical – trials design and management, clinical PKPD analysis, sample logistics.
