Business Support

All tenants will have access to the UoB and Yorkshire Forward’s comprehensive business mentoring and support programmes. We are also developing programmes with the University’s School of Management to provide access to mentoring, business networks market research. The Bioincubator is also a member of the UK BioIncubator Forum, which brings together 23 BioIncubators representing over 350 companies across the UK, and has established links to Venture Navigator to provide initial assessments of commercialisation opportunities covering:-

  • Business planning and market assessment
  • Intellectual property management
  • Funding support via grants, banks, VCs and business angels.
  • Accounting, legal, banking, insurance and related services
  • Company formation, HR and sales and marketing advice
  • Product portfolio management
  • Opportunity to network with prospective customers / suppliers
  • Graduation, relocation, further funding etc.
